It Landed Right There!

It looks like one of those crop circles, where a UFO has landed in someone's cornfield, but it's just the outline of my new perennial bed. For months I had the hose lying out in the middle of the yard in roughly the shape I wanted, but every few days I'd change my mind and try something else. So after I got the outline dug, Teresa came home and said, "I didn't know we had decided on the shape of the bed. I was thinking about a circle."

Oops. Too late now.

In other news, the Yoshino Cherry opened its first blooms, the first buds appeared on the Japanese Magnolia, and the first Bearded Iris buds appeared this Saturday (3/22)

Well, Gina, it's not like the hose hasn't been sitting out there in roughly the same shape since January...if she wanted a circle, she should have moved the hose!

Thanks Jayme!

I like the shape! I bet once you get it planted up she'll come around.

This is definately a better choice for the area than a circle! lol Hold your ground!!! But really, I can't wait to see the pictures as this bed progresses. Makes me want to put in a couple of beds right in the middle of my hubby's precious grass. Hmmm....
